A 38-year-old Belfair woman was arrested Monday after allegedly hitting five cars and then driving her sport-utility vehicle into a Department of Corrections' field office.
The woman, identified by police as Annamarie Romano, was arrested for felony malicious mischief, DUI and reckless endangerment and taken to the Mason County jail.
Romano apparently struck five vehicles in the office's parking lot, then rammed the building. Witnesses said she was driving at a high rate of speed and yelling obscenities out the window while driving a Land Rover, police said.
No one was hurt in the incident.
